Dear friends,

As the EFC family celebratings its 40th anniversary this year by counting the wonderful blessing and looking forward to God glorifying his churches. EFCTC congregation is also experiencing renewed life and regained strength, pressing forward to her own 40th anniversary in 2015.

Following up the Gospel received from Jesus, the greatest commandments will continue to be the prime directive and main focus of our church teaching. Since I have been working with the brothers and sisters in this church for the past 3 years, we have discovered possible and challenging team oriented serving models. I expect our ministry directions to be more clear and joyful as we live the church life and make our experience become a good testimony to glorify His name.

These summer months (July and August), my Sunday sermons mainly focus on learning to pray (the prayer life of disciples: praying with Apostle Paul). With church deacons, brothers and sisters, we are working on church ministry vision, and our mid range and long term goals for the next 5 to 10 years. I truly believe that practicing prayer has not only helped us get started but also accompanied us, and it will continue to be vital to us down the road.

At this time, on one hand, we inherit the calling of the proclaiming gospel from a group of Taiwanese students from 30 some years ago who loved the Lord, served the Lord and passed on the calling. On the other hand, we are willing to use our hearts to search the Lord and experience the Lord in His Word. Through the environment He prepared for us and the calling He revealed to us. We, EFCTC, can then answer the calling bravely and honestly.

If you have any feedback, encouragement or suggestions, please feel free to contact us. I would also like to invite you to join our ministry teams, growing together in the Lord, enjoying the relationship with Him and experienceing the joy of proclaiming Good News of Christ.
